Comments:
A paltry sum but a huge number for me operating in a contest with my new
downsized station for the first time in over 3 years! Yea, I don't have to tear
down the gear and card table anymore! I am working on antennas in a very small
yard with no trees. As many of you know, CW is not my comfort zone; in fact, I
usually feel just like I was sitting down with the RI every time I enter a CW
contest. My love of contesting overcomes those feelings and I inflict my lousy
CW ability on the contest world. Apologies for the many repeat requests!
Ironically, the only Canadian I worked was one of our newest members...thanks
Frank VO1HP. Thanks for including me on the team Mike...I will try to better my
score in the future. Working with wires 7 feet AGL was kind of like QRP I
imagine! Best 73 es thanks for the Qs. Bill VY2LI
THE GEAR:
Yaesu FT-950, N1MM, Rigblaster plus
20 AND 40M wires 7' at apex
IN STORAGE:
120' of tower, Wilson SY-1 tribander, Cushcraft 40M yagi, homebrew Hazer system
(which I hope to bring to life in Spring)
