Comments:
A few minutes before the 1300Z session the X-rays
took a minor jump up, but otherwise solar activity
is close to an absolute minimum. With longer daylight
the AZ-path was good and Tim N6WIN was the strongest
on 14 MHz. Usually strong Marv N5AW was weak with a
huge pile-up, so I spent six minutes getting through.
Nice to see Frans PA60HVSC active with the speedy call.
Again heard Wino PA0ABM roaming with a good signal. But
overall the skip in Europe was long range (low X-rays!).
The Sun has presently clearly an active and 'passive'
side. Unfortunately the active side is also producing
a lot of geomagnetic disturbances, partly due to CH's
(Coronal Holes).
