Comments:
Since last time I travelled 250 miles to pick up hardline to feed the 80 meter 4
square. I have it stretched out across the yard.
Signals were excellent and strong on 40. The Maestro did not have audio, so had
to use headphones for the side tone and listen on the speaker (Flex bug). Also
the delay in going from TX to RX increased the number of missed first
characters. Later the audio was "fixed" by rebooting the Maestro.
Consequently I missed some weak guys because the PGXL amplifier fans are so
loud. AH6KO was so loud I did not recognize him! Cruised along at 40 wpm on
7.026.6. At 1315 had 49 QSOs. At 1330Z reached 96. The first lull was at 1334Z.
Lots more CQs needed during the second half hour.
Headed outside while the weather is perfect.
First lull was at 1343Z.
