Very limited operation due to my birthday happening on Saturday! No 160M
antenna, so I wasn't going to participate at all, but just for the heck of it I
loaded my 80M inverted-vee at 60' thru my tuner and called a few stations.
Immediate success prompted me to stick with it, and eventually I actually ran
'em! Delighted with the results under the limited operating conditions I had.
I'm certain many stations had good ears!!!! Oh, and a very special thanks to
Laci, OM2VL, who was really loud here and who picked my call out of the crowd to
work me. Thanks. 73
