Hello from Kawaihae, Big Island Hawaii!
Well - I've got quite the mess of masts and antenna wires going on in our yard,
currently, because I built a 40m dipole! I just finished it in time for 19z! I
used it on 15m today, and made a contact (YAY thanks Will WJ9B for the
contact!). I've never succeeded in making any contacts at 19z from this
location, so it's an improvement over the endfed, for sure. I heard quite a few
more stations than I normally do. And - the usual problem of noise from the
solar inverter was not a problem today, I set this antenna up as far away from
that as possible.
I am very excited to try my new antenna tonight :)
