Comments:
Started on 14 MHz where signals turned out too
weak for scoring. Signals on 7 MHz looked good
but early in the session there were not yet so
many stations on. Later my CQ yielded a good
response, and I stretched it to 1945Z before
moving to 3.5 MHz for the last 15 Q's.
For the daylight sector (USA and such) the
M-flare around 1600Z most likely guaranteed
good MUF and shorter skip distance for 28 MHz
due to F2-layer enhancement(free electrons),
but Aurora is still above 50 gigawatts.
A new M-flare started at the end of this 1900Z
session, peaking M1.5 at 2012Z while writing
this summary.
Maybe soon I will hook up the IC-7300 for CW
with N1MM+... another option seen at NP2ZA.
Have been enjoying the bare paddle so far...
It will be kept parallel to software anyway.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA NP2ZA #1856 CWops
