I was wrong, Mr. Rauch. The minimum cathode warmup spec. for an 8877 is
3 minutes, not 5. However, Eimac says nothing about the 8877's cathode
warmup period being a variable. Eimac says nothing about the need to
limit heater inrush current. Eimac says nothing about warming up the
cathode at a voltage outside the specified range of 4.75v to 5.25v.
Where did you read this, Mr. Rauch?
