I guess I am out of the loop. I don't know Denny Haad, but I bought a new
Clipperton-L in 1980 to replace my homebrewed 3 hole 572B amp.
It hasn't missed a beat in that time and it is the only amp I have had since
then.
Oops-the transmit lamp bulb burned out earlier this year. It never put out 1500w
but it was designed for 1kw input. It really is a good piece of work.
With it and my KT34A, if I can hear 'em, I can work 'em.
