Carl, why do you just sit and call it junk science? You did not point
out one single technical flaw in my previous message and as I said, you
confirmed my question about current changes causing ringing in a circuit.
Now please, if the science is so junk, show me why. Don't just call it
junk. Show me the technical flaws.
Does EVERY amp need Rich's supressors..probably not. Do parasitics do
the damage that Rich claims? I have no idea. I'm not using any ceramic
tubes and don't know all that much about tube structure.
What I do have knowledge in is RF circuitry. You cannot argue with Rich
about the effects of parasitic inductances and capacitances on an amps
ability to sustain oscillations at VHF. No one has come out and said why
lowering the VHF Q of a circuit is a bad thing? This is all Rich
suggests.
Please, if you have a view explain why and give me some scientific reason
behind your science. I am engaging you, Rich and the whole mail
reflector on this topic because I am trying to learn what is actually
happening. So if I have technically gotten something wrong, please point
it out to me. Don't just tell me I am wrong. How will I learn what the
correct answer is?

ps: Answers such as: "I've built tons of amps that don't oscillate
using traditional suppressors" don't cut it. I want facts not emperical
experience.
