You know, just after I sent the message about 2T being the highest, I was
looking through some old notes. GE has 3T & 4T systems. Oops. I goofed.
OK, I've dug old my old Spectrian data sheets. Spectrian sells solid
state amps for this market. Quoting: "The PowerMAXX family of products
operates over 30-175 MHz, range at pulsed power levels of 4 KW and 7 KW.
These systems are targeted at the 3T and 4T MRI market segments."
Wether that much power is used may be another thing.
