My RadHaz course said that you didn't need to worry about X rays under about
15KV on the plate (or collector, if it's a TWT)
I'd be very dubious about there being BeO in 2C39s or 4CX250's. BeO is used
where good heat conduction is required, and because of the way these tubes
are used, I don't see them needing good heat conduction - unlike the
conduction cooled varieties.
