Out here, and over on the Island of Oahu, at the six tower, Pacific
Contest Station of KH7R, Henry 3K amps are used at all multi-
multi stations from 80 through 10 meters - five of them operate
for 24 or 48 hours during many contests per year, including
RTTY events. There are two or three spare 3K's available
to be wheeled immediately into place should the need
for their use come up -- not often.

However, during the CQWW test just passed, two of the Henry's
did quit. Was determined later that the fault was goo/and gup
which was probably accumulated tobacco residue/dust/ various
other goodies which got in because, maybe the air filters had
not been cleaned for awhile, hi. In any case, the present station
owner, the second or third, "inherited" the Henry's, and am sure
by now has in place a regular maintenance program. Many,
many different Hawaiian amateurs regularly go up to the
Waimea Bay area of Oahu to operate in various 'tests
at the station. Other than the goo accumulation problem,
the Henry's have served all well for several years. Not
sure if Ken has instituted a "no smoking" policy yet,
or not; most likely has, hi.
