One of the original epoxies, Araldite, would ruin the Q of a 5 MHz coil -
from 180 to 25. The quick setting ones I have found to have little, if any
deleterious effect on Coil Q, and they don't seem to heat up that much in RF
fields, as Rich says.

There are metal loaded epoxies, often available as a putty for filling
cracks and so on, which I wouldn't advise in this application.
