Well, how did you set up the MFJ-259? Did you try to drive the tube with
it or did you "simulate" the published impedance of the tube with a
resistor and cap. If you did the latter, than yes, the MFJ worked fine
and you will be able to make great input circuits. It is what I plan on
doing to my amp in a few weeks. I doubt you would have good results if
you keyed up the tube and tried to drive it with the MFJ. That's what
the article I have suggested in effect and that's what I am talking about.
