Yes, Tom, W8JI did a super engineering job on the ATR-30.
Showed it at Dayton last May. Only took Ameritron several
months to come into production with it. I am sure it is a
super unit.
However, per my sources, the component costs to Palstar for the
AT4K parts is about the same as the price of the Ameritron unit,
so something has to be different; maybe Paul is just paying
too much for his component parts.
