I have a resonated choke in my 4KV supply (CT FW configuration). The choke
has decided that it's limit is about 2KV according to the measurements I've
made. The simple cure for this is to place it in the CT minus return. Or is
it?? There must be drawbacks to placing the choke in the minus side - or
all HV PSs would be built that way. What am I missing?
