So how far down should IMD products be?
Typically, professional practice is -31dB rel PEP at the final amp output
for SSB. Is this probably OK for the majority of amateur applications at HF?
For ISB, usual figures are -36dB rel PEP.
The bigger problem is the high order products, which tend to be worse in
solid state PA stages.
This is where under running the driver should help...........probably does
if the driver is a 6146.
