Hmmmm. Interesting. What brand tubes do you have, Pat? I have maybe 18 or
so around here. Eimac's, Penta's and Amperex's in the bunch. All of them
have the larger cap set screwed to the (Kovar?) anode lead. The set screws
are usually in so tight, I have to put the defunct tube in the vise and
whack on it a while to get the damn things off. Didn't think they came
without that cap in place. You can learn something new everyday on this list!
