I have built several of Lee Martin's boxes, 2 x 4-pill's and my current
8-pill.
With a stiff supply rail in the mobile it kicks the 1Kw Bird slug hard
over.
If you take care building the kit and find an antenna to handle the
power, especially on the low bands you'll be very happy with the
performance.
