paul
your right it could be, but i check that with my meter which is a =
fluke 8700 and it seems to be ok, their is one thing that seems out of =
line is the plate voltage when in stand by is going up over 3500 volts =
according to the meter on the amp, i would like to know if thats normal =
or if their is a problem there, under load it drops back down to about =
3200.
the reason i ask is i have had two different flash overs in the amp in =
the b+. the surge ris flashed and the rf choke flashed. then i can take =
the tube out and it will be ok. and it has happend with it setting their =
on a dummy load. paul you can check everthing else and it seems to be =
ok. the amp works great when its working.
