Three words: Ball Grid Array

Four words: Micro Ball Grid Array

Personally, I like a propane torch for most stuff. The biggest advantage is
the lack of corrosion causing Oxygen in the gas. The usual hot air rework
stations spew hot O2 on your sensitive parts. It's quite satisfying to see
the the BGA part snap into place with surface tension as you play the torch
across the PCB.
