The G-P capacitance of a 3-500Z is about 5 pF, not .07pF. Rich's feedback reactance was off by a factor of about 71, and tiny but not insignificant error. The correct G-P reactance at a couple hundred kHz is around 150k ohms, not 11 megohms Xc. 73, Tom W8JI w8ji@contesting.com -- FAQ on WWW: http://www.contesting.com/FAQ/amps Submissions: amps@contesting.com Administrative requests: amps-REQUEST@contesting.com Problems: owner-amps@contesting.com |
