I would say the amp is working like "Gang-Busters," Dan.
If you have a manual, you will find that the length of coax between the exciter
and the amp is very critical in length to obtain optimum uotput on all bands.

If you don't have a pulser, just set your CW keyer at very high speed, and
hold the "dot" side down while tuning.

1800 volts under load, with 700 watts out looks great to me too.
