Jukka used first a ACOM 2000 that broke and he had to wait for the EMTRON
DX1 that works on 160. I know, as this has been published in the ham
magazines and I had the pleasure to join him in Stockholm harbor and go with
him in his car to the DX-meeting in Karlsborg in October this year. He gave
a wonderful lecture about his Pitcairn expedition with video takes. A great
guy.

This amp works on all WARC bands and 160 as well. You could on a DX
expedition, take with you some spare modules just to be sure. But I do not
believe it is necessary - there are a lot of protection circuits. There are
some inside pictures on EMTRONs homepage of those modules and the DX1 and
bigger brother the DX2.
