The only possible explanation for this is parasitics in the power supply.
Perhaps it should be recommended to put parasitic suppressors in the power
supply to prevent parasitic oscillations there - especially Measure approved
types.

I used to have an old 866 mercury vapor power supply that actually had a
parasitic oscillation and would generate a horrible hash.  Finally installed
"hash" filters in each positive lead.  I now realize that it should have
been made of nichrome wire or something better.

And, parasitic suppressors in the line supply might be good also to prevent
those nasty grinches that sneak down the power line.

Finally, a parasitic suppressor in the antenna feedline would prevent any
spurious radiation from going either up or down the antenna.
