Rich- just saying 'enough' is avoiding the question.  My interpretation of
the Eimac comment is that it rules out an internal short, and says the
overheat was therefore probably from oscillation. The cause of the overheat
could therefore be any of several things, including a momentary load
failure, at the intended frequency.

I had not realized that you had postd to the list, as well as to me.
