I agree totally with Phil. One thought occurs though: if each transformer feeds
its own bridge rectifier, you could parallel the resulting DC outputs. In order
to get proper load share between the transformers, you could then fit series
resistors such that the load shares between the transformers in the correct
ratio. This would need to be done at pretty much full load, and you would really
need to be careful that you didn't end up as part of the load!
