Offering a complete RF deck component package from a Drake L4B
amplifier for either application in a hombrew amplifier project or for
essential spare parts for the Drake L4B.
I recently purchased a Drake amplifier for a 6m
retrofit;consequently, the 10-80m RF deck components are excess to my
needs. Each and every part is in mint condition (no RF burn marks) and
has been "surgically" removed (unbolted) so there are no cut wires. It
will bolt up on a new deck of will drop in as a replacement in a Drake
L4B amplifier with a minimum of effort. The package includes:
a.** the bandswitch/coil assembly for full legal output++
b.** tuned input circuit (on a sub-chassis) with the tracking
cog and belt facility for auto exciter input switching with the
main bandswitch. All wires are in place including the coax input
cable and cathode blocking capacitor. Cog gear on the bandswitch connects
remotely to the input tune shaft via a flex-belt for
synchronized (tandem) bandswitching.
c. both the air and antenna tune capacitors. Includes a vernier
on the plate tune cap.
d. the porcelain hv plate choke and the two silvered parasitic
choke coils, resistors, two HV plate blocking capacitors, and all
mounting hardware. All for $375+ shipping
** I prefer to sell the entire package (and you'll save some bucks) but
will unbundle the bandswitch and tuned input circuit with all the
coupling hardware for $265+ shipping.
