Both units as automatic amps are very good but they have great differences:
IC-PW1, transistorized, 1 KW all bands included 6 M, instant warm up but
when is hot gets quite noisy.
Acom 2000, valves ( Russian very cheap valves ), 90 min warm up, higher
power 1.5 Kw plus, for 1 KW only 30w from the exciter and runs quite cool,
very quiet fan.
Both stands 3 SWR at the antenna, the Icom uses an internal ATU, can be
operated 3m away, they have a remote head for control.
