Hi George,

If one is not scared about doing the proper home-
work, a dual or three hole tetrode works very well. Lot's 
of gain and the easy legal limit in most applications. 
If the tube price is free, it gets hard to turn down such a 
project. 
Don't let that screen supply scare you away...

4CX350A's and I'm convinced that a single Triode 
in grounded grid would be a
much better solution.  Having the tubes and the 
sockets is not necessarily a
good reason to take on a project that may end 
up with a lot of grief.
