I'm from the "transistor" generation. As a kid, I remember
taking the TV's tubes to the drugstore to check them on
the store's tester. Although I'm sure I've heard of the term
above, I did a quick search and can't seem to find an explanation
for this concept. Could you elaborate what this means?
