Hi Carl
Really no reason for 3-watt resistors in
a metering string for 1ma or less meter
movements. Have a look at the
Vishay/Dale CMF series resistors. 500v
working with 900v withstanding. 3/4
watt @125 deg C or 1 watt @70 deg C.
They are less than .30 cents each in
small quantities. E-mail me direct for
HV meter divider boards 6KV and under,
2.5 X 2.5 inches. They are not on my
web-site yet.
