You asked for comments, so here goes (short and sweet). I have never
had to spend more than about half an hour with some magnet wire and pieces of
PVC or fiberglass tubing to come up with a good plate choke. How can you
possibly compare that to all of that rigamarole you have to go thru to float
the
cathode up to B-? No contest!
