- Steve -- If it's for cathode bias in a g-g amp., a string of
fwd-biased Si rectifiers is a better choice because: 1. for setting
ZSAC, they are adjustable in 0.7v steps; 2. they are more able to stand
surge currents; 3. they are cheaper.
