Maybe you need to increase the cutoff voltage, as the amp may be oscillating when unkeyed. The Sletvana tubes require a higher cutoff voltage that the original CETRON tubes. Check out RFPARTS web site for more info - they have a tech bulletin on how to use two diodes and a cap to get a new cutoff voltage via the filament transformer. It's been awhile, but I had to mod two FL2100Bs for this reason.
