The M4G5, as stated, is a 3 Amp 600 PIV diode with 10 uA reverse
current at 25 deg C. They are made by EDAL Industries, in East Haven,
Connecticut. Phone # (203) 467-2591. My catalog says they were there
in 1990 at least. Look them up on the web at

anybody knows if M4G5 diodes(used in Drake L4B amp. PS) are still available?
