I was visiting W3VT Bob Cheek today, and he has a B&W bandswitch
assembly that he wants to sell. I did not look at it closely because it had
a bunch of other stuff on top of it, and I was scared to try to move it
without dropping other items all over the floor. If anyone has any interest
in buying it, e-mail me with your offer and I'll pass it on to him. I don't
know if it's new or used, so please e-mail TWO offers, one for new,
one for used, although I'm fairly certain this item is new. This is not to
say he's going to sell it, as there is some question as to whether or not
he wants to part with it, but I'm sure if there is a decent enough offer,
he will part with it. Bob had a stroke and is going to be moving and needs
to liquidate many amateur radio related items.

Also in the room is two racks full of equipment which comprise a kilowatt
homebrew AM transmitter and receiver. I did not look inside, but he says
the final is a 4-1000 or 4CX1000 (he wasn't clear on this) modulated by
a pair of 4-400a's. He wants $600.00 and it absolutely positively must be
picked up, no shipping is available. It will take 5 men and a truck to move
it. It is all black wrinkle finish, and I would say it's factory stuff if I didn't
know he built it by hand himself. (looks very nice indeed!).

Kindest regards, -Web Williams in Myrtle Beach, SC
