Yup. I was surprised, but it's Neosid F14 material, suitable for tuned
circuits up to about 4 or 5MHz. The loading was cylinders about 1.5 inches long
and 1 inch diameter: there are 8 of these inside a coil of about 5 inches
diameter, so they're pretty loosely coupled.
As is so often the case these days, the demand for cores for RF tuning coils
has diminished, and Neosid do very little in the way of 'classic' components
now...
