Lots of work this weekend, looks like things will fly when I get over some rush
rush errors I made.

Cooked an inductor on the tank circuit, couldnt figure out why until about 20
mins ago..!

On the tank circuits, its not right to leave the end of the inductor string
OPEN :)

my bandswitch was only selecting tap points. I failed to connect the end of the
string
to the output....what happens to all that power when you click that key? :) if
goes EVERYWHERE!

i'll fix it tonight. but so far, 40m, 20m and 15m do well, ~25 in 1500 out, 80
didnt seem to be happy, i'm
wondering if this was part of the issue. I'm not even trying to go to 10 at
this point and 160 i'll look at
after I get 75-80m working. I had 15w in and looked like 300 out tops.

NOTE:
I find that when I have the MFJ setup to do a prelim adjustment on the tank, I
put a resistor from tube plate to gnd.
Look back into the output with the analizer and I find a good many 1:1 swr's
.Drawing the
matrix of cap settings and bandswitch positions, I kind of know what to expect
on each band but
20 m had a few. Interesting way of doing presets I guess. Better than
guessingmy way thru it at low power which
cant be fun.

oh well, more to follow hopefully.
