I got in on this late so I apologize if this has already been mentioned:
judging by the early posts, there seems to be a notion that the "8K" refers
to the amp's peak power limit. I'm not sure what the 8K stands for, but the
Henry numbering does not have to do with power. the 8K uses a single
3cx3000 and can put out around 5 kw p.e.p. For that, it requires somewhere
