Thanks John,Bob&others for the research and suggestions...Here`s my dilemma:
I have been running a used 3cpx5000A7 for a few yrs with great results (Not
yc-156 although identical)and have since picked up a new, never used tube.
the year of mfg was 1991 so I know some burn-in and arc protection is
necessary...What does this tube use for gettering? I`m looking for
suggestions for filament conditioning/de-gassing before applying
HV&DRIVE...Ideas,suggestions very welcome..Thanks..Jim..
