Thinking of valves with oxide cathodes (8877, 4CX1000A etc.) is there a particular reason why Eimac went for low voltage high current? It seems to me that chokes, wiring, offboard psus would be easier if we were dealing with 20V 2.5A instead of 5V 10A.
