Thanks for all the replies, public and private regarding 8877 blower 
requirement. I received plenty of good information and gained a better 
understanding of how to properly size a blower.
I'm going to use the 2C610 (same as the 4C442) that I have for the W6PO 
amp. I'll use the smaller 4C440 blower for the single 3CX800 amp that I 
am rebuilding.

I was thinking about rigging up some sort of sensor to disable the amp 
if the blower was to stop. Maybe a small vane on a pivot that when air 
is flowing, blocks an LED from shining into a photo diode (ANDed into 
the G3SEK interlock circuitry).  The electrical circuitry is simple 
enough. Any suggestions on the mechancial implementation ?
