Yes and no.  The CPX version is rated for a higher plate voltage than the CX 
version with the Eimac tube.  The CPX tube has a taller ceramic insulating 
portion at the base.  The Svetlana CPX and CX versions had the same ceramic 
height and both will take the higher plate voltage.
