Straight from Jeff Weinberg, W8CQ, in the flea market at Dayton 08:
Jeff told me that he intends to put in winding equipment here in Ohio and
wind his own transformers using Peter Dahl's designs. Right now the xformers
are being made by MagCap.
I believe that Jeff will be able to control the quality better, and make the
transformer winding business profitable, by doing his own assembly work.
He did not give me a specific date.
One thing he did say was that Peter Dahl did not use automated winding
machines to build his xformers but adapted lathes to make the windings.
