Nothing wrong with 813's Jerome. I have an amp with 4 in parallel, grid
driven Class C and AM modulated that run fine at 1200W out.

In the late 50's I had a pair driven by a Meissner EX Signal Shifter
running ~ 800W input on AM/CW.
