[Amps] filament on 3cpx800

I see the filament voltage is 13.5 volts at 1.5 amps. My alpha 
conversion uses a 12.6volts on the filaments.
Can I gain efficiency and more power going closer to the required 
voltage? Am I hurting anything?
How would I go about getting the proper voltage
