To all concerned regarding the queries I made about the subject tuner.

I recently purchased one and returned it because I thought it had a
problem with the PC board that controls the automatic hi and lo meter range.

If the power was 1500w output, the feature worked.
If the power was 400w output, the feature didn't work.
i.e., the meter just pegged (hard) and the red LED 'high-range'
indicator didn't light.

AFTER returning the unit, I was informed via email that there is an
adjustment to the power sensing circuitry that corrects this 'problem'.

The email didn't tell me any more than the fact that there are 4 holes
in the back of the tuner through which a screwdriver can be inserted to
make the adjustment(s).

This information is NOT in the manual and very few people, including
owners, know about it.

I just wanted to set the record straight -
Steve, W7TZ was the source for this info - he is a very knowledgeable
tech for these tuners.

I didn't pursue it any further since I no longer have the tuner.

This info is mainly for Ron Todd, with my apologies that I was too dumb
to find the adjustment before returning his tuner. It is also for any
other owners that have experienced this 'problem'.
