Thanks to everyone for the replies, I'll just not be cheap about it and pick up 
the cap tomorrow.  Although I do have a sprague 4.7uF 450V non polarized cap in 
my junk box (K2XT did you send me those?), not quite the 4uF the data sheet is 
asking for.

It was nice to meet you in person last weekend.   That was a pretty nice little 
find for the right price.   I found the specs, 2200 rpm, 57 cfm , 28 watts, 
also has a two speed option.     If it runs, it's even better!       My amp 
project was stalled for a few weeks there, but I think it's getting back on 
track finally.    I still may be dropping by for advice though hi.

Well Paul, you can always drive over and drop that little beauty off 
right here. 

The starting caps are non polarized and available at most electrical 
supply shops or motor rebuilders . 

You could also create a substitute with a pair of electrolytics as many 
have done as a sub in HAM-M style rotators.
