Hi Carl and Roger,

that is likely, that Heahtkit did some "odd" things at the Amateur end era!
Remebered once a bid on ebay, for Heathkit SB 240 !!
Must have pictures on the other computer.

The two holer 8873 was also project published in ARRL handbook in 70's.
And Roger if you look for substitues, i have seen some conversion with GI7B 
instead of 8873!!

Good luck with SB 230!
